The Certification Institute for Research Quality (CIRQ), an International Standards Organization (ISO) audit and certification body that is a subsidiary of the Insights Association, has been certified by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
Following extensive and detailed assessment of documentation and operations ANAB assessors attested that CIRQ fulfills the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 in the field of Management Systems Certification. CIRQ’s accreditation was granted for a period of five years and will require annual surveillance audits.
ANAB accreditation is an objective third-party confirmation of CIRQ’s demonstrated competence to audit and certify organizations conforming with research management and information management system standards. Accreditation by ANAB ensures the impartiality and competence of CIRQ and fosters confidence and acceptance of its certifications across the public and private sector.
ANAB is the first management systems accreditation body in the United States. Its reputation for customer-focused service by experienced employees, contract assessors and technical experts, has made its accreditation symbol recognized and sought after worldwide and by numerous industries.
“Being a certification body, we understand and appreciate the importance of passing a thorough, exhaustive audit conducted by a longstanding, respected organization like ANAB,” commented Juliana Wood, Managing Director of CIRQ. “Being on the other side of the process proved enlightening and will help us improve and grow our services and client base.”
Added Melanie Courtright, CEO of the Insights Association, “The ANAB seal, and the proof of quality for which is it stands, is something we’re extremely proud to celebrate. Kudos to Juliana for her diligence and hard work in seeing CIRQ through the process. This means there’s now an even brighter feather in the caps of all CIRQ-certified companies.”
The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) is the largest multi-disciplinary accreditation body in the western hemisphere, with more than 2,500 organizations accredited in approximately 80 countries. A non-profit and wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), ANAB has comprehensive signatory status across multilateral recognition arrangements of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). ANAB helps industry and facilitates trade by providing accreditation and training and serving as architects for the conformity assessment structure of industry-specific programs.
